Cardinal Francis George agrees to chair Instituto Fe y Vida’s Fund Development Program in a meeting with Dr. Carmen Cervantes, Fe y Vida’s executive director.

Since 1994, Instituto Fe y Vida has established itself as the preeminent institute for the development of leaders and resources for Pastoral Juvenil Hispana (Hispanic youth and young adult ministry) in the Catholic Church in the United States. Because Fe y Vida serves a low income population in an underdeveloped and under funded ministry, our work requires significant philanthropic support. The following charts depict Fe y Vida’s income and expenses for 2013:

As the charts show, Fe y Vida could not continue in ministry if not for the institutions and individuals who cover roughly 30% of the operating expenses each year.
