Cardinal Francis George agrees to chair Instituto Fe y Vida’s Fund Development Program in a meeting with Dr. Carmen Cervantes, Fe y Vida’s executive director.

Over the past 11 years, Instituto Fe y Vida has established itself as the preeminent institute for the development of leaders and resources for pastoral juvenil hispana (Hispanic youth and young adult ministry) in the Catholic Church in the United States. Because Fe y Vida serves a low income population in an underdeveloped and under funded ministry, our work requires significant philanthropic support. In 2004, the institution that has supported Fe y Vida the most, made the last of its yearly contributions offered to stimulate the development of the Institute.
