The following applies to the Symposium
as well as to the three Seminars:
The conditions
are included in
the registration form.

I.   Language
The process, presentations, and materials for the Symposium and Seminars will be in Spanish. Participants may express themselves in either English or Spanish. Some small communities work in Spanish, others in English or bilingually depending on language of preference.

II.   Registration
Space is limited to 100 participants in the Symposium and 30 per Seminar.

The Summer Program is only for participants 18 and over, no minors will be accepted.

A.   Registration Fees [$100 non refundable per person]

Early registration (before May 31st)

Regular registration (before June 15th)

Late registration (after June 15th)

B.   Room & Board
The price includes accommodations from July 24th (Sunday night) to July 30th (Saturday noon). Three daily meals are included starting with dinner on Sunday, July 24, and ending with lunch on Saturday, July 30.

* Bathrooms are shared between two rooms for both single and double rooms.

C.   Group Registration [two or more people]
To encourage the attendance of several participants from the same institution (i.e. parish or arch/diocese), the following discounts are offered:      

Group of 2, discount of $100
(2 people X $50 discount)
Group of 3, discount of $200
(3 people X $66.50 discount)
Group of 4, discount of $300
(4 people X $75 discount)

NOTE: When registering as a group, please send all of the registration forms and payments together.

III.   Site & Schedule of the Symposium and Seminars
•  The Summer Program will be held in the campus of the University of Houston (www.uh.edu), in Houston, TX. Hobby Airport (HOU) is 8 miles south of the University; Houston Intercontinental Airport (IAH) is 25 miles north of the University.
•  Registration: Sunday, July 24th 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM; program starts at 7:00 PM
•  Closing celebration, graduation ceremony, and farewell: Saturday, July 30th, 4:00 - 6:00 PM

IV.   Partial Scholarships
Some partial registration scholarships are available. If you wish to apply, please send a letter or e-mail with your name, address, and telephone, program of interest (Symposium, Seminar A, B, or C) to Walter Mena, Programs Director (wmena@feyvida.org), explaining your financial need, your reasons for wanting to attend, and a description of your pastoral background. Letters or e-mails can be written in either English or Spanish.. In order to qualify for the scholarship your letter must be postmarked on or before June 15, 2011.
