This Seminar is geared to young adult leaders and advisers who seek to
deepen their understanding of the Word of God and to learn how to
integrate God’s Word into their lives through study, communitarian
reflection, and prayer over the most prominent themes in Salvation
History. Participants also learn methodologies and techniques for
effective and engaging biblical instruction among Hispanic youth and
young adults.
This seminar will help the participants to:
- Encounter the Word of God through the experience and concerns
of young Hispanics
- Learn or review the principles for Catholic biblical interpretation
- Use La Biblia Católica para Jóvenes
(BCJ) as a valuable tool for ministry with Hispanic
youth and young adults, and for sacramental preparation
- Incarnate the biblical message in the daily life of young Hispanics
through a more profound experience of the liturgy, reflection, and
prayer with the Lectio Divina method, and the use of the
Diálogos Semanales con Jesús (DSJ) series
