This Seminar is geared to adult advisers, young
adult leaders, and pastoral agents interested in Pastoral Juvenil in
the U.S. It is one of the three modules of Instituto Fe y Vida's "Certificate
Program for Advisers and Leaders in Hispanic Youth and Young Adult
Ministry," at the national level. To receive the Certificate, all three
modules must be completed as well as a final paper. This Seminar may
also be taken on its own as continuous formation.
- The sociocultural and religious reality
of Hispanic young people
Gain understanding of the reality of Hispanic young people in the U.S.
through a holistic analysis in order to better respond to their human,
social, and pastoral needs.
- Planning for effective pastoral action
Processes, tools, and methods for planning, organizing, and
implementing a vibrant, effective, and realistic Hispanic youth and
young adult ministry.
- Spiritual, vocational, and ethical
discernment processes
Foundations on discernment processes in the vocational, spiritual, and
moral dimensions of Hispanic young people to help them integrate their
life project, and reflect on life's crossroads and challenges.
